Good intentions, flawed execution

The friendly staff showed dedication to improving the guest experience despite ongoing updates. The room had a comfy layout, and the presence of useful amenities like a fridge and microwave stood out.

Unfortunately, multiple maintenance issues were apparent throughout the stay, like outdated bathroom fixtures and an uninviting game area that felt abandoned.

I was just passing through and needed a simple place to rest for the night. While the room was adequate, it had some quirks like the funky smell, and I struggled a bit with the lack of heating in freezing weather. The breakfast was a make-your-own waffle setup, but they were out of cups which made it awkward.

We had a nice time playing billiards with the boys! The location was perfect for checking out the Hamilton County Fairgrounds, which made for great family bonding time during our stay.

Smart choice for a night in Webster City with great value for money. The room had a surprisingly comfortable couch that I really appreciated after a long drive. Avoid the breakfast if you can—just go for coffee instead.
